Installation
VARTON® LED luminaires are designed to be installed in
Armstrong, Grilliato, Ecophon, Cesal suspended ceilings, drywall ceil-
ings, suspended rack ceilings or on any flat surface (depending on the
product model);
Recessed installation:
Take out the luminaire from the box;
Set the luminaire on the suspended ceiling system grids;
Connect the luminaire to the mains electrical supply through
WAGO terminal block. (Picture 1);
Secure the luminaire to the bearing surface using metal suspen-
sions (not supplied in package);
Take out diffuser from the box;
Place diffuser in the luminaire frame;
Fix diffuser securely in the luminaire frame using white metal bar;
Secure the metal bar to the luminaire using plastic rivets (supplied
in package);
Surface mounting:
Take out the luminaire from the box;
Connect the luminaire to the mains electrical supply through
WAGO terminal block (Picture 1);
Drill holes on the installation surface, in accordance with Luminaire
Installation Size information, stated in Technical Characteristics;
During installation of IP54 luminaire, don’t forget to secure the
luminaire mounting holes with silicone gaskets (supplied in package);
Take out diffuser from the box;
Place diffuser in the luminaire frame;
Fix diffuser securely in the luminaire frame using white metal bar;
Secure the metal bar to the luminaire using plastic rivets (supplied
in package).

Installation
Plug in a luminaire through a connecter or a socket protected from
moisture and dust. Ensure that power output goes in accordance with
an identification mark. Mind wires color-marking (brown - phase L,
blue - neutral N, green / yellow - grounding);
Install the luminaire onto a console with diameter ranging from 40
to 48 mm;
Align the luminaire parallel to the console and tighten it by two
screws M8 (supplied) with force of at least 8 N * m.

Technical characteristics
Installation
The luminaire can be installed directly on a flat surface made of
normally flammable material and it also can be mounted on self-sup-
porting suspensions;
Installation of VARTON® LED luminaire is to be carried out in such
a way as to provide a secure fixture and a comfortable layout of lumi-
naires;
During the installation you should drill mounting holes on the
surface of the ceiling (maximum distance from hole centers equals to
the luminaire length minus 35 mm). Then insert the luminaire into lock-
ups until it clicks;
During the installation on self-supporting suspensions you should
fix the cable with bolts on mounting brackets for suspensions (not
included in the kit);
Snap holders on the body; secure the body on suspensions;
Network wires should be connected to the terminal blocks that
were brought out from the luminaire body through hermetic gasket;
It is recommended to wipe a contaminated diffuser with a soft
tissue without the use of abrasive cleaners.

Set the luminaire to the necessary turning angle;
Untwist wing nuts and remove screws from holes in the swivel
bracket. Then turn the bracket to the desired angle and install the
screws into the corresponding holes. Tighten the wing nuts on the
screws;
Install the luminaire onto the mounting surface, having fastened it
by set bolts through mounting holes. The diameter of mounting bolts
should be 10 mm;
Plug in a luminaire through a connecter or a socket protected from
moisture and dust. Ensure that power output goes in accordance with
an identification mark. Safety class should be at least IP65. Mind
wires color-marking (brown - phase L, blue - neutral N, green / yellow
- grounding).

Install the luminaire onto the mounting surface, adjust the height
of the clampings p. 2;
Tighten the screws p. 1 against stop;
Fasten the luminaire on the ceiling rails using set screws M6,
setting them into the fixing holes of the clampings p. 2;
Connect the wires L, N of power cable 220V to the corresponding
power supply cable wires p. 3;
