RBS-700D
2.2 Operational Safety
The machine is designed so as to provide maximum protection for the operator. Do not remove any passive or active security features.
You would expose yourself to the risk of injury.
During work it is necessary to follow safety regulations to avoid any injury to yourself or other persons present nearby and to avoid any
property damage. In the operating instructions, these instructions are marked by the following warning symbol:
If you see this symbol in the operating instructions, carefully read the statement following after it!
This international safety symbol indicates important instructions concerning safety. When you see this symbol,
be cautious. There is a danger of accident to you or other individuals. Carefully read through the following
information.

2.2.1 Safety Regulations
Before using the adaptor peruse the manual and safety guidelines specified in the user's manual for the
multifunctional carrier
RAPTOR Hydro
!
The machine operator must be over 18 years of age.
He is obliged
to familiarize himself/herself with the instructions for the
use of the machine and to be familiar with the general principles of occupational safety.
During your work, use work aids approved according to
ČSN EN 166
or
ČSN EN 1731
(close-fitting clothes, sturdy shoes, work
gloves, and safety glasses). Keep a safe distance from the device secured by the position of the handle.
When working with the machine, all other people (
especially children
) and animals must stay outside the machine's work
area. The operator may only continue working after they reach a
safe
distance.
Always make sure that no part (especially the working mechanism or its cover) is damaged or loose
before using the
machine
.
Identified defects must be
immediately eliminated
. Use only original spare parts during repairs.
Proceed with caution when changing attachments. When the engine is turned off, the exhaust silencers remain hot.
Never attach or remove the adaptor from the multifunctional carrier on a slope! There is a risk of loss of the machine's stability.
When attaching the adaptor, all other people (especially children) and animals must stay outside the machine's work area. The
operator may only continue working after they reach a safe distance.
Cut growth must be free of solid items (such as stones, wires, loose debris, etc.) before using the machine. These items could be
thrown out or could damage the machine. If they cannot be removed, avoid such spots.
The machine is fitted with a rotating working tool. Maximal peripheral velocity is
87m.s
-1
. Make sure that other people stay at a
safe distance when you are working with your machine (the possibility of flying off the chopped or ejected solid items)!
Before commencing work with any attachment, check the shut-off function of the clutch of the drive; the control lever is placed
on the right handle of the handlebars.
It is prohibited to work without properly installing the safety covers of the belt drives that propel the attachments.
Before starting reversing, especially when leading the machine on foot, make sure that there is enough space behind you to
safely manoeuvre the machine and that the surface is free of bumps that would adversely affect your stability.
The machine's
safe
slope accessibility is 10°
. The maximum long-term tilt of the engine is 20° and short-term one is
30°.
Do not use your machine on wet surfaces. You must always move on safe terrain. While working, always walk. Do not ever run.
Be cautious especially when changing direction on slopes. Do not stand on heavily sloping slopes. Do not hold your machine if
you fall down - release it!
Information for the entity operating the machine based on the requirement of the Directive 2002/44/EC – exposure of employees
to vibrations:
With regard to the value of the declared sound pressure level A at the work station, it is necessary to use one's personal
protective equipment against noise, which is effective for the aforementioned noise level.
With respect to the declared values of vibrations transmitted to the operator’s hand and arm, it is necessary to adjust
the working procedures for this type of machine by specifying appropriate technological breaks to reduce vibration
exposure.
27
The EN 12733 standard provides for the designation of the outer security zone A around the work area B. It is necessary to prevent access to this area by means of appropriate
banning marks. The distance between the sides of areas A and B must not be less than 50 m. Once a person or animal enters this hazardous area of the machine, the operator must
immediately release the gear lever and wait with any other work until the area is free again.
28
The maximum slope value applies to all directions. The final value is always reduced, when compared to the real measured value, by employing the safety coefficient.
29
Short term = up to one minute.
