Electrical specifications
This chapter describes the electrical specifications of the Cooler. Information regarding electrical
connection and interfaces can be found in §3.8 and §3.9.
The EMC compatibility can be found in section §4.7.
The maximum specified current provided to the cooler is restricted to 12A.
WARNING:
The current supply source to the cooler must be fused or restricted to this maximum
current level of 12A.
4.1.
Fuses
The cooler is provided with one non-resettable replaceable mains voltage fuse and one auto-resettable
and non-replaceable Poly-fuse.
The non-resettable replaceable mains voltage fuse F1 (5A - see §9.1) is located at the power entry of the
connector board, see Figure 8. The controller and 24VDC transformer are protected with an auto-
resettable and non-replaceable Poly-fuse F2. Resetting is done by a power OFF - ON cycle.
In the event of a suspected Poly-fuse and a power cycle does not result in a functioning cooler, the
connector board is defective. The connector board needs to be replaced and returned to Varex Imaging
Group Nederland B.V. if this occurs.
