Continuous Readout - Frame-rate Exposure
In Frame-rate exposure, the detector receives a trigger and grabs a pre-determined number of
images with a specified gap-time between exposures (see
). The minimum gap time is
equivalent to the readout time. The numbers of images, the detector exposure time and the gap
between exposures have to be previously set by software (SCap or API). During the gap time, the
detector keeps reading the sensor to clean the dark current. This acquisition only works with
Software trigger and External edge trigger source. In SCap, this acquisition is selected using
Configuration
