BIOS Introduction
BIOS initializes hardware like CPU and memory, and saves hardware settings for installation
and loading of the operating system (OS).
Users may need to run BIOS Setup program when:
•
An error message appears suggesting that the user should run BIOS Setup;
•
Default settings need to be customized.
Please be aware that BIOS will be under continuous update for better system
performance, therefore the description in this chapter might vary slightly and is for
reference only.
3.2
Check BIOS Version
You can check the BIOS version of the Board in Windows in accordance with the following
steps:
1.
Press the “Win + R” on the keyboard to call the command box;
2.
Input
msinfo32
in the command box and click “OK” to confirm;
3.
Move to BIOS Version/Date on the open page to check the detailed information.
