3.8 Backup (NAS to NAS)
Remote backup enables you to duplicate iles from the NAS system to another NAS system.
The iles are encrypted and compressed before duplicating in order to protect the data and also to save data
transfer time.
3.8.1 Backup Scheduling
Make sure a network share folder is created before creating a remote replication task.
Log in to the NAS and go to “
Backup Scheduling
” under the “
Backup
” tab, specify IP address for
remote NAS system then click “
Add
” to continue.
3.8.2 Select back up mode
- Full Backup duplicates all data from the folder to the remote NAS.
- Incremental backup will only back up iles that has been changed since the last backup. This provides the
quickest means of backup.
