•
Makesurethepowerswitchisswitchedtothe“ON”position.
•
MakesuretheACpowercordisproperlyconnectedtothehouseholdwalloutlet.
•
Makesurethewalloutletyouhavepluggedthepowercordintoisa“live”outlet.
•
MakesuretheblueLEDhasnotbeendimmedtothepointthatitdoesn’tlight.
•
Makesurethattheunitisnotinthesleepmode.
Nosoundfromeitherspeaker
•
MakesurethepowerLEDisilluminated.Ifnot,seethestepsfor“PowerLEDisnotilluminated”.
•
Makesuretheactivespeakervolumeknobisturnedup.
•
Makesureyouraudiosourcevolumeisturnedup.
•
Makesureyouraudiosourceisplayingaudio.
•
Disconnectallbutoneaudiosourceinputontheactivespeaker.
•
Ifthespeakerwaspreviouslyworkingproperlybutstoppedsuddenly,thismaybetheresultoftheoutput
driversexperiencingthermalshutdown.Thisisanormalprotectionfeatureanddoesnotindicateamalfunction.
Turnthepoweroffontheactivespeaker,wait5minutes,turndownthevolumeoftheaudiosource,thenturn
thespeakersystembackon.

Select“auto”withtheremote.

turndownthevolumeknobontheactivespeakeralso.

Makesuretheaudiosourcesignalisprovidingacleansignal.
•
Makesurethecablebetweentheaudiosourceandtheactivespeakerisproperlyseated.
Noaudiofromtheoptional
subwoofer
•
MakesuretheRCAcablebetweentheactivespeakersubwooferoutputandthesubwoofer’sinputareproperly
seated.
•
Makesurethesubwooferispluggedinandswitchedon.
•
Makesurethesubwoofervolumeisturnedup.
Sounddropsoutmomentarily
•
Thisisusuallyanindicationthatoneofthemanyautomaticprotectioncircuitsisengagingtoprotectthe
speakersfrompermanentdamageasaresultofplayingthespeakerslouderthantheycansafelyplay.Turn
eithertheactivespeakervolumeortheaudiosourcevolumedownslightlyuntilthisstops.Ifyouneedtoplay
louderthantheT1Espeakersallow,youshouldconsideraddingasubwoofertoyoursystem.
•
Ifyouareusingoneofthedigitalinputsthiscouldalsobeanindicationthatyourdigitalsignalisbeing
interrupted.Youmayconsiderchangingthedigitalcable.
•
IfyouareusingtheBluetoothinputthiscouldbeanindicationthatyourBluetoothsendingdeviceisonthe
edgeofbeingoutofrange.
