system before removing any
components. The compressor and
engine oil levels should be checked with
the unit shut down and the oil allowed to
properly settle.

Before performing maintenance or repair
operations on the machine, ensure that
all power has been removed and locked
out to prevent accidental start-up.
NOTE
If additional spare parts are being stored
for future use, make certain that they are
stored in proper containers that allow for
protection against contamination, and
kept in a clean area of moderate
temperature reading. For information on
storing the machine package for periods
of non-use, consult
Section 6.7.2, Long
