4. Installation
4.1 In general
The Enpres is classified as an unfinished machine, because of that, the producer can’t comply with all
the legally prescribed safety regulations, such as a emergency stop and a logical control. It is
therefore important that the installer looks after this. The installer must bring the entire installation
into agreement with the relevant European directives after the installation.
4.2 Installation
The installation / the lines onto which the Enpres is going to be connected must comply with the
following regulations:
There must be a non-adjustable overpressure valve installed.
o
The overpressure valve must act on the systems maximum working pressure.
The connections to the Enpres must be flexible spiral lines.
o
This prevents vibrations being transferred into the system and lines rupturing due to this
vibration.
When the Enpres is electrically powered, a maximum current protection must be installed and set
to the correct value to protect the electric motor.
When the Enpres is electrically powered, the main power switch must be installed within the area
visible from the Enpres. If this is impossible the main switch must be lockable with a Padlock.
When the Enpres is petrol powered, their must be sufficient ventilation in order to prevent the
exhaust fumes from piling up.
All lines and fittings must be designed for the maximum pressure the pump can deliver.
All lines and fittings must be airtight and of sufficient quality.
Suction , overflow and press lines must have an inner diameter at least the inner diameter of the
connections. Maximum over- and underpressure of lines and fittings must not be exceeded.
