Install Pedals
• Use the pedal marked with an
“L” on the left side and the pedal
marked with an “R” on the right
side (the side with drive-train
gears).
• The right-side pedal has a
right-hand thread (removes
counterclockwise, installs
clockwise); the left side pedal
has a left-hand thread (removes
clockwise, installs counterclockwise). Be careful not to cross thread
the pedals.
Check and Adjust Brakes
• Ensure that the front brake is operated by the right brake
handle and the rear brake is operated by the left brake handle.
• Cycle rotors are extremely sharp and may cause harm. If further
adjustment is required, please contact a local authorized cycle
mechanic to properly adjust the braking mechanisms.
