Troubleshooting
If your Vamoose cycle is not working, first check the quick disconnect fittings
to make sure they have not come loose or unplugged.
There are 5 total colored Quick Disconnect fittings to check:
1. Right-hand Throttle - Yellow
2. Left Brake Lever - Red
3. Right Brake Lever - Red
4. Motor - Black 9 Pin
5. CDC6 Display
Make sure the battery is inserted fully into the cycle. If not fully inserted, the
cycle will not receive power and the electronics will not turn on.
Rear suspension allows the bike to soak up impacts and reduce rider strain by
helping the back wheel stay in contact with the ground over bumps. The Odin's
rear shock is pressurized air and can be adjusted for optimal "SAG" depending
on the weight of the rider. SAG refers to how much travel the rear shock
allows, about 20% when the rider sits is ideal. SAG can be checked using the
plastic O-ring by pushing it up all the way, sitting on the bike, and seeing how
far down the O-ring is pushed back. The rear shock found on Vamoose Odins
has a max. of 180 psi. A special shock pump is needed for properly adjusting
an air shock.
