18. Place the
Catalyser head tube (16)
in the nozzle of the catalyser test tube and the
TRIMIX® mixer head (17)
in the
resin test tube
19. Squeeze the
gun trigger (18)
until resin begins to flow from the
Catalyser head
tube (16)

will force resin to flow for a
few seconds

thoroughly after use. Proper
maintenance will extend the equipment’s useful life.
Clean the outside of the
TRIMIX® mixture head (17)
frequently when working and leave the
gun (15)
.
The
gun
should be left immersed in cleaning solvent when not in use. The solvent must not
touch the air valve, in order that the nozzle remain clean.
Always use the solvent recommended by the product’s manufacturer for cleaning the
equipment.
3.3. Calibration.
1. Start-up the equipment.
2. Close the
Resin pump air intake cock
(14)
(PNEUMATIC PISTON PUMP), and close
the
catalyser pump air cock (9)
.
3. Prepare 2 calibrated test tubes
4. Remove the
TRIMIX® mixer head (17)
with the
catalyser head tube (16)
.
. For maximum accuracy, place each test tube on
scales and weigh. If no scales are available, use the test tubes to calibrate by volume.
5. Remove the nozzle of
TRIMIX® mixer head (17)
and replace into the
Calibration
head (20)
.
6. Place the
Calibration head (20)
on the
gun
.
7. Open the
Resin pump air intake cock (14)
(PNEUMATIC PISTON PUMP) and open
the
Catalyser valve (12)
.
8. Place the
TRIMIX® mixer head (17)
in the resin test tube and the
Calibration head
(20)
with nozzle mounted on the gun
in the
9. Squeeze
gun trigger (18)
and fill the test tubes with required amount.

10. Check the proportion of the volume or the weight of the materials using scales.
