Typical

fl

 ame appearance

The pilot light and burner

fl

ames should be checked

periodically. Check after the

fi

re has been on for at least

30 minutes. The pilot

fl

ame must cover the tip of the

thermocouple probe. The main burner

fl

ame pattern will

vary depending on the type of installation and climatic

conditions.
Performance of propane gas

fi

replaces may be a

ected by

the quality of commercial gas supplied

in your area.
The

fi

replace area must always be kept clear and free from

combustible materials, gasoline and other

fl

ammable vapors

and liquids.
Inspect the vent terminal outdoors regularly to ensure that

it is not obstructed by snow, trees, bushes, leaves, or other

objects.
Inpect the vent system regularly. We recommend at least

once a year.

Note

The height and color of your flames can vary depending

on fuel type, fuel quality and mixture, altitude, and

aeration adjustment at or after installation.
The photos of typical flame appearance are for

illustrative purposes only. Your fireplace may be

operating normally but may appear slightly different

than the photos.
Venting configuration, elevation, burner aeration

setting and local fuel heating value can all affect flame

appearance.
