Operating your fireplace
Preventing inadvertent ignition
You can use one of the following two methods
to ensure that your
fi
replace will not turn on
unexpectedly.
• On the gas valve, turn dial from ON position to
MAN* position as shown. Turning the dial to MAN
will ensure that main burner cannot come on. The
pilot will remain ON if lit.
• Alternately, remove all batteries from the battery
holder in the control area (see next page), and the
handset.
* To activate the
fi
replace again, turn dial back from
MAN to ON position.
