Window Removal and Reinstallation
WARNING
The window must be correctly installed,
fastened and sealed after servicing or
serious bodily injury and/or damage to the
appliance may result.
To ensure a safe operation:
• Double-check that the the window is
correctly installed;
• Verify that the four spring-loaded latches
are hooked properly to the four window
tabs then;
• Pull out the top of the window, then the
bottom and release to ensure the springs
return it;
• Ensure the window is sealed by pressing
firmly around it before operation.
WARNING
Failure to install the window correctly can:
• Leak carbon monoxide.
• Affect the performance of the fireplace.
• Damage components.
• Cause overheating resulting in dangerous
conditions.
Damage caused by incorrect window
installation is not covered by the Valor
Warranty.
Reinstall and Check Window
Reinstall the window using the latch pull handle located
on the bottom front of the
fi
replace.
1. Rotate the four side spring latches to the vertical
position. Holding the window at the top and bottom,
place the top edge on top of the
fi
rebox.
Lift the window slightly
so the side tabs slide
back over the corre-
sponding roller bush-
ings at the
fi
rebox sides.
Hold the window back
and
fl
at against the
fi
rebox.
2. Using the latch pull handle, hook the four spring
latches over the corresponding tabs as shown.
