7. Replace the burner. The stem on the end of the air
shutter must mate with the vertical slot in the link
bracket. No nut is required.
8. Connect the fuel supply line and tighten the nut. The
burner angle may need adjusting to better align in-
jector threads with the fuel line nut while tightening.
9. Reattach the burner supports (4 screws).

This part is no longer necessary. If the appliance has
an air shutter stopper, remove the 2 screws retain-
ing it, discard it and reinstall the 2 screws to plug the
holes. This part is no longer used

Replace Burner Injector
1. Undo burner supports (4 screws).
2. Unscrew the nut at the end of the burner fuel
supply line, and lift the burner and supports out of
the
fi
replace (complete with injector elbow at-
tached).
3. Unscrew and disengage the injector elbow. Be
aware that
four pieces sit between the elbow and
the burner, do not drop them.
4. Exchange injector elbow from kit, verifying the new
injector before you install—see Speci
fi
cations table
on page 1. The injector number is stamped on the
corner of the elbow.
5. Exchange the air shutter from kit as its shape is dif-
ferent for each fuel.
6. Reassemble the burner, putting the
fl
at washer, ten-
sion washer, air shutter, and anti-
fl
ashback shield
back in order as shown below. Reconnect injector
elbow to the burner, as tightly as possible while
leaving the elbow connection angled toward the
fuel supply line. Do not over tighten.
