Pre-Start Up Checks

use tools to operate controls; only use your hand to push-in and turn
the control knobs.
DO NOT
abuse the glass window by striking or slamming it shut.
DO NOT
try to repair the appliance. Call a quali

ed service technician.
DO NOT
clean the appliance when hot.
DO NOT
use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call
a quali
fi
ed service technician to inspect the appliance and replace any
part of the gas control system which has been under water.
DO NOT
use this appliance if you smell gas.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
OPEN WINDOWS.
DO NOT TOUCH ANY ELECTRICAL SWITCH; DO NOT USE THE PHONE
IN YOUR BUILDING.
EXTINGUISH ANY OPEN FLAME.
IMMEDIATELY CALL YOUR GAS SUPPLIER
FROM A NEIGHBOR’S
PHONE
AND FOLLOW THE GAS SUPPLIER’S INSTRUCTIONS.
IF YOU CANNOT REACH YOUR GAS SUPPLIER, CALL THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT.
