Fan Kits Components
The complete 1495CFK kit contains the following:
• Fan assembly, motor unit on mounting plate
• Control wire, Fan to V-module
• Hex nuts (2)
• Adhesive cable retainer
• Wiring diagram label
2. Remove burner module to access fan location.
a.
R
emove the cover panel surrounding the burner
(4 screws).
b. Remove the rear baffle (6 screws).
c. Remove the burner by undoing 2 screws and
pulling the burner gently forward, then up to
disengage it.
d. With great care for all its attachments, remove
the burner module plate (12 screws).
Note: The gasket may adhere and make it
difficult to remove.

Remove Burner and Module Plate
We highly recommend to install this fan kit at the same
time as the fireplace.
1. Unpack the fan contents and ensure you have all
the items shown above, as well as electrical wiring
coming to the fireplace.
NOTE
This fan is powered by the V-module which is
already supplied for the accent lighting on the H6
fireplace. Ensure power has been provided before
proceeding with installation of this kit.
