Lens (objective,eyepiece,

collector) has dust.
Clean lens
Position of condenser is too

(contrast or
resolution is poor).
Cover glass thickness is off-
standard.
Use required thickness
cover glass (0.17mm).
Cover glass of specimen isn’t
