Bus Top C

The ventilation hatch Bus Top C
is a modified variant of Bus Top K,
electrical and is used for forced
ventilation and if required for emer-
gency escape of passengers out of
public transport busses.

Operation of the ventilation hatch is
electrical in position

•

extend rear

Operation of the ventilation hatch
is by means of a switch (S1).
The hatch is driven to the selected
position via an electric motor with
worm drive haft.

The hatch may be unlocked for
removal in its end position using a
red inside or outside emergency
handle opened my means of hinges
located opposite the emergency
handle.

1.4.1 Emergency Operation

1.4.1.1 Bus Top K / Solar

Emergency operation is released by
means of a red inside or outside
emergency handle. This withdraws
the pins connected to Bowden
cables from the 4 pivot bearings
releasing the cover assembly from
the frame for removal. The cover
assembly may be tilted or deposited
within an area of 150 mm around
the securing cable.
