3.2
Product description
The product is an infrared radiant heater that heats objects
using infrared waves. These warm objects then transfer heat
to their surroundings.
The product is equipped with a safety cut-out that switches
the product off in the event of overheating and switches it
back on automatically once the product has cooled down.
The product should be used in combination with the following
components:

The product can be mounted on the wall or ceiling.
Maximum surface temperature at an environmental temper-
ature of 20 °C: 110 °C (115 °C when mounted on the ceil-
ing).
3.2.1
CE label
The CE label shows that the products comply with the basic
requirements of the applicable directives as stated on the
identification plate.
The declaration of conformity can be viewed at the manufac-
turer's site.

Set-up
3.3.1
Checking the scope of delivery

Check that the scope of delivery is complete and intact.

3.3.2
Requirements for the installation site
▶
Do not install the product immediately below a wall
socket.
▶
Do not install the product in rooms where the air is very
humid.
▶
Do not install the product in open spaces or in rooms in
which it would be exposed to water or moisture, such as
swimming pools.
▶
Do not install the product and its power socket with wiring
in protection zone 0, 1 or 2 of a wet room.
▶
Do not install the product in rooms that inhabitants
cannot leave unaided unless continuous monitoring is
provided.
▶
Note that the room temperature should be at least 17 °C,
and the floors and radiators should be kept clean to pre-
vent the "black magic dust" phenomenon (fogging).
