1.3.5 Risk of death caused by improper
repair work

If the power supply cable is damaged,
never replace this yourself.
▶
Contact the manufacturer, customer ser-
vice or a similarly qualified person.
1.3.6 Risk of a deadly electric shock if you
interfere with an electric component
that is connected to the low-voltage
network
▶
Disconnect the product from the power
supply.
▶
Secure the product against being switched
back on again.
▶
Check that the product is voltage-free.
▶
Completely disconnect the unit from the
voltage supply before you open it.
1.3.7 Risk of deadly electric shock if faults
or leaks occur

Earth the product.
▶
If a fault occurs, use the partition that
is installed on-site (e.g. fuses or power
switches) to disconnect the product from
the power supply.
▶
In the event of a leak at the unit, close the
cold water supply immediately.

hot components

Only carry out work on these components
once they have cooled down.

using an unsuitable tool

Use the correct tool.

the product being under pressure

Take the max. permissible water connec-
tion pressure into consideration.
1.3.11 Risk of material damage caused by
frost
▶
Do not install the product in rooms prone
to frost.
1.3.12 Risk of material damage if the
electrical specifications are not
observed
If the electrical specifications are not ob-
served, there is a risk of damage for the
product and a risk of fire.

Permanently connect the product's hard-
wired power supply cable to the house
installation.
▶
Do not connect the product via the plug.
1.3.13 Qualification
Only qualified electricians may carry out the
electrical installation.

Electrical specifications
▶
Ensure that the nominal mains voltage
complies with the specifications on the
data plate.
▶
Ensure that the cable for the house install-
ation is connected to an electrical partition
with a contact gap of at least 3 mm (e.g.
fuse or power switch).
▶
Use a line with suitable dimensions to con-
nect the product to the protective con-
ductor.
▶
Install line protection.
