Selecting a stirrer attachment
The mixer can be used to mix and combine many different
materials, e.g. cement, plaster, paint or mortar. Check that
the stirrer attachment selected is suitable for the job.
•
Use a stirrer attachment of type
a
for liquid materials,
e.g. paint and light cement mixes.
•
Use a stirrer attachment of type
b
for sticky materials,
e.g. light mortar, putty and glue/adhesive.
•
Use a stirrer attachment of type
c
for thick materials,
e.g. cement, thick mortar, plaster and epoxy mortar.
(The machine is supplied with a mortar mixer.)
•
Use a stirrer attachment of type
d
for materials of low
viscosity, e.g. paint and plaster-based materials.
Use

Screw the selected stirrer attachment onto the spindle
(5) using a 24 mm wrench.

Cleaning and maintenance
Environmental information
You can help protect the environment! Follow the
applicable environmental regulations: dispose of
unwanted electrical equipment at an approved
refuse disposal centre.
•
Remove the stirrer attachment from the mixer before
cleaning the attachment and the machine separately.
•
Wipe the mixer clean using a well-wrung cloth after use,
and always keep the machine’s surfaces and ventilation
holes free of dirt.
•
Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, as they
may attack the plastic parts of the machine.
•
Clean the stirrer attachments immediately after use.
Follow the instructions for removing mixed material from
the attachment.
•
Check regularly that the carbon brushes are in a good
condition. If the carbon brushes are worn, they should
be replaced.
