The fork (A) is mounted in different holes on the brake
lever (B) on the front and rear wheels.
1. Remove the fork (A) from the brake lever (B).
2. Then unscrew the fork (A) on the rod (C) until a good
braking effect is achieved.
3. Refit the fork (A). The fork (A) must be fitted as
illustrated.

If necessary, drain the air tank of condensate before
driving. Do this by pressing in the drain valve (F) on the
bottom of the tank while the tank is pressurised.

Measure the stroke (C) of the brake cylinders in the
unbraked and the braked position. When performing this
measurement, ensure that the rod (A) is fully retracted
when the brakes are off.
If the stroke (C) exceeds 55 mm, the brake should be
adjusted.
Adjust as follows:
1. Remove the fork (B) from the brake lever (D).
2. Then adjust the fork on the rod (B) until a 50 mm
stroke is attained. Reinstall the fork.
If this adjustment is insufficient, the brake lever (D)
should be moved one step closer to the brake cylinder, on
the pivot (E).
The distance (F) between the pivot (E) and the centre of
the hole in the fork (A) must be as in
“Table 9.3 “ .
