The V3 unit can be connected to any USB Audio
Class 1 compatible keyboard. The V3 unit can
supply your USB keyboard with a maximum of
500mA. If your keyboard requires more than
500mA, you will need an external power supply.
The polarity of the sustain foot pedal is set up au-
tomatically when you turn on the V3. The pedal
only works on MIDI channel 1.

To avoid possible damage to the loud speakers or
other connected electronic devices, always con-
nect all cables before turning on the units.
Plug the power adapter that came with the
YAMMEX into the DC port on the back of the unit.
Plug the other end of the power adapter into a
power outlet.

You can also connect the YAMMEX AUDIO-OUT
to a mixer and adjust the volume there.
Move up the V3 YEMMEX
MAIN VOLUME potentiometer to
maximum.
Turn on YAMMEX first,
then power on the keyboard.
NO SOUND - No MIDI-LED
The YAMMEX MIDI LED only lights up when you
have correctly selected a sound. To do this, you
must send the following messages over MIDI:
MSB Bank 63
LSB Bank 80 (80 is just an example)
Prg. change 1
This will only be done automatically if you have
correctly installed the voices using the YAMAHA
YEM Editor. If this does not happen, check the
bank setting as described on page 3.
