Trouble-shooting
This section lists faults that can be solved simply by following the instructions given. If
another fault is displayed or the fault cannot be remedied, please call Customer Ser-
vices.
Before calling Customer Services, please note down the error message in full.

What to do if ...
... in the display appears
Possible cause
Solution

Drain hose is blocked, kinked
or defective.
▪
The pumping height of the
drain hose is too high (<1.2
m).
▪
The appliance is connected to
a concealed double drain trap.
▸ Check the part of the drain hose that is not
housed in the appliance.
▸ Resolve the problem.
▸ Cancel the error message by pressing the
button.
▸ Start the programme.
▸ If the error appears again, note down the error
message in full and the serial number (FN) and
then turn off the power supply.
▸ Call Customer Services.
… A3 flashes in the display
Possible cause
Solution
▪
The vanes in the washing
drum are dirty or wet.
▸ Check and clean the drum vanes. A cleaning
stone is particularly suitable for this.
… A9 flashes in the display
Possible cause
Solution
▪
The following parts in the ap-
pliance could be blocked:

Door filter

Filter mat in door filter

Base filter
–
Additional filter mat
–
Heat pump mat
▸ Check and, if necessary, clean the parts.
▸ Cancel the error message by pressing the

ton.
▸ Start the programme.
▸ If the error appears again, note down the error
message in full and the serial number (FN) and
then turn off the power supply.
▸ Inform the caretaker, the owner of the appliance or
the property management company.

High ambient temperature.
▸ Improve the ventilation of the room.
▪
The load is too wet/heavy.
▸ Spin washing at higher speed/reduce size of load.
