10.2 VAS Vibration Absorbing System
As the washing drum starts to spin, if the control system detects that the load
is out of balance it will interrupt the spinning action once or more. The
appliance tries thereby to distribute the load more evenly inside the washing
drum.
Whilst spinning the washing drum is actively balanced as required in all
speed stages by the corrugations filling with the required amount of water.
This ensures optimal care and draining of the washing.
10.3 Water and energy economy
During the first few minutes of a programme running, sensors automatically
determine the type and the size of the load being washed.
Water levels are then optimally adjusted to the wash load so that only the
strict amount of water needed is used.
10.4 Automatic energy-saving stand-by
The appliance is equipped with automatic stand-by to avoid consuming
energy unnecessarily.
All displays go out within minutes of a programme finishing. Energy
consumption is reduced to an absolute minimum. The safety functions,
however, remain activated.
