Preparing food with a skin or peel:
▸ Prick food with a skin or peel such as potatoes, tomatoes, sausages, shell food and
the like with a fork. Otherwise, the steam that is produced will be unable to escape
and may cause the food to explode.
▸ Crack open the eggs and beat them before cooking.
▸ For fried eggs: Prick the yolk before cooking
Turn or stir foods halfway through the cooking time if possible.

Porcelain, ceramic and earthenware cookware have cavities which can fill with wa-
ter. Risk of cracking! Follow the manufacturers’ instructions.
