1 Safety precautions
1.5 Instructions for use
Before using for the first time
▪ The appliance corresponds to recognised technology standards and the rel-
evant safety regulations. Proper use of the appliance is essential to avoid
damage and accidents. Please therefore follow the precautions given in
these operating instructions.
▪ The appliance must be installed and connected to the electricity supply in
accordance with the separate installation instructions. Have a qualified fitter/
electrician carry out the necessary work.
▪ Do not cover the ventilation slots during installation or when the appliance is
in use under any circumstances.
Note on use
▪ If the appliance is not working properly, you must disconnect it from the
power supply.
▪ If the appliance is visibly damaged, do not use it. Contact our Customer
Services.
▪ Make sure that connection cables from other electrical appliances do not
become trapped in the appliance door. This could damage the electrical in-
sulation.
▪ If the connection cable for the appliance is damaged, it must be replaced
by our Customer Services to avoid any potential hazards.
▪ Do not flambé or cook using a lot of fat in the cooking space under any cir-
cumstances.
▪ Do not use the appliance as a room heater.
▪ Never use the appliance to dry pets, textiles and paper.
▪ Ensure there are no foreign bodies or pets in the cooking space before
closing the appliance door.
▪ Do not store objects that could pose a danger if the appliance were to be
accidentally switched on in the cooking space. Do not store food, temperat-
ure-sensitive materials or inflammable materials in the cooking space, e.g.
cleaning agents, oven sprays, etc.
▪ Only use original spare parts.
