Cleaning
▸ Clean the grease filters in the dishwasher. Select the «intensive» dishwasher pro-
gramme with a warm prewash. If no dishwasher is available: Soak the metal grease fil-
ters in hot water and mild detergent.
▸ Clean, rinse well with clean cold water and then wipe dry.
– Grease filters can be used again after being cleaned.
▸ Put the metal grease filters back.
▸ Reset saturation indicator alarm (see page 16).
Cleaning may cause the metal grease filters to become slightly discoloured. How-
ever, this will not affect the functioning of the filters in any way.
4.3 Standard activated charcoal filter
The standard activated charcoal filter needs replacing after an operating period of 3 to 6
months and whenever the saturation indicator alarm is triggered. Standard activated
charcoal filters cannot be washed or regenerated.

▸ Remove the metal grease filters.
▸ Push the bar
and move the activated charcoal filter down and out .
▸ Dispose of spent activated charcoal filters at a suitable recycling point and re-
place.
▸ Reset saturation indicator alarm (see page 16).
