4.3

Replacing the standard activated charcoal filter

Standard activated charcoal filters are only used in the recirculation model.

The standard activated charcoal filter is to be replaced after an operating time 
of 3 to 6 months. Activated charcoal filters cannot be washed or regenerated.

Remove both metal grease filters

Press the two red retaining slides

 on the standard activated charcoal 

filter

 upwards. At the same time pull down the filter and remove from the 

holder

Slide the new filter up under the clip and secure in the fixture

. To do this, 

snap the red retaining slides

 into place.

Put both metal grease filters

1

 back in.

Put the screw fuse back in or switch the circuit breaker on again.

 

Remove the screw-in fuse for the appliance or switch off the circuit 
breaker.

The spent standard activated charcoal filter can be disposed of in the 
household waste.
