▸ Enter the 6-digit numerical code into the bluetooth pairing request from the mobile
device.
– The indicator light for the button goes out.
– The hob is displayed as «My Hob» in the bluetooth setting of the mobile device.
The connections for up to 4 different mobile devices such as smartphones and
tablets can be stored in the hob.
If no code is displayed, a proper connection could not be established. See the
Trouble-shooting (see page 25) section.
5.4 Cooking with the app
All cooking zones can be used for manual operation as well as cooking simultaneously
with the app.
▸ For GuidedCooking, first select the desired recipe or EasyCook in the app and pre-
pare following the instructions.
▸ After starting the cooking assistant, follow the app's instructions.
▸ Connect the app’s cooking process to the hob by touching the button for the hob
that is switched on. Then connect the networked cookware with the app.
The cooking zones that are connected to the app are indicated by the display to
the left of the slider.
Once the GuidedCooking process has started, the cookware must not be moved to an-
other cooking zone, as otherwise the automated cooking process cannot be successfully
completed. The same applies to removing the lid from a pan during the GuidedCooking
process.
If the power setting is inadvertently changed, the GuidedCooking process will only be
cancelled if the slider is touched again and the desired power level is then taken over.
If the mobile device is removed further away from the hob than the standard allows, the
connection will be lost.
– The GuidedCooking process is interrupted.
– The display next to the slider goes out.
– The GuidedCooking process can be resumed within the next 30 seconds by bring-
ing the mobile device closer again and touching the button.
If is not touched within 30 seconds, the GuidedCooking process is cancelled. The last
active power level is maintained.
If the hob is inadvertently switched off with the button during the GuidedCooking
process, the cooking process can be resumed by touching within 30 seconds.
