Using for the first time

Before operating the newly installed appliance for the first time, the following steps
should be taken:
▸ Remove packaging and transport materials as well as any protective blue film from

out of the cooking space.

▸ Clean the cooking space and the accessories.
▸ Long touch the display.

The appliance starts.

Various user settings necessary for operation such as language, date, time, time
format, summer/winter time adjustment, time synchronization, water hardness, tem-
perature unit, V-ZUG-Home mode and colour scheme appear in the display one
after the other.

▸ Make the settings and confirm.
▸ Remove all the accessories out of the cooking space before carrying out the initial

burn-in.

▸ Start the initial burn-in.
If the initial burn-in step is skipped, it must be carried out manually after completing the
initial set-up.
▸ Heat the empty cooking space (without wire shelves, baking trays, etc.) using the

operating mode at 200 °C for about 30 minutes.

As there is likely to be some smoke and odour given off, we recommend ventilat-
ing the room well during this phase.

▸ Clean the filter in the water outlet.

If the outlet is blocked in spite of this, contact Customer Services.

All temperatures in these operating instructions are given in degrees Celsius (°C).
