11 Care and maintenance
▸ Wash the door filter mat 2 under running water or
in a washing machine at 40 °C.

Vacuum cleaning can cause damage to the appliance!
Never clean the door filter mat with a vacuum cleaner!
▸ Put the dry door filter mat 2 back into the door fil-
ter 1 .
▸ Put back the dry door filter 1 .

Ensure the door filter is positioned correctly.
11.3 Cleaning the front filter
▸ Open the appliance door and remove the front in-
sert 1 , as described in «Cleaning the front in-
sert» (see page 33).

▸ Press the lug 2 down slightly to release and re-
move the front filter 3 .

▸ Clean the front filter 3 carefully using a vacuum
cleaner with the crevice tool attachment.

▸ Open the air inlet flap 4 .
▸ Clean the air duct with a vacuum cleaner (with
brush attachment) or a damp cloth.

Risk of injury and of damage to the appliance!
Do not touch the lamella fins 5 behind the front filter! Their sharp edges can cause
injuries.
Use a brush attachment on the vacuum cleaner to avoid damage to the appliance.
