13.4 Cleaning the detergent dispenser drawer
Cleaning the detergent compartments
▸ Pull the detergent dispenser drawer 1 out as far
as it will go.
▸ Push the blue release lever 2 to the left and pull
the detergent dispenser drawer 1 completely out.
▸ Wash out the detergent compartments.
▸ Clean the duct under the pre-wash detergent
compartment l .
▸ Insert the detergent dispenser drawer 1 again cor-
rectly.

Cleaning the siphon and suction tube
▸ Pull siphon 1 in fabric conditioner compartment
upwards and out.
▸ Clean the siphon 1 and suction tube 2 .
– Insert the siphon 1 again correctly.

13.5 Cleaning the water inlet filter
Test the water inlet for leaks following maintenance work.
▸ To avoid blockages, periodically check and, if ne-
cessary, clean the water inlet filter 1 .

13.6 Emergency draining
The water in the appliance may be hot. Scalding hazard! Allow to cool down before
emergency draining.
In the event of a blocked water outlet or drain pump, a malfunction or a power failure, if
there is water still in the appliance it must be drained off as follows:
▸ Open the drain tray with the flap for liquid deter-
gent.
▸ Fold the drain tray right down. It also functions as
a receptacle for collecting any water that runs out.
