To select the right drying programme, follow the fabric care symbols on
garment labels.
General tips
䡲
For the wash you are recommended not to use fabric conditioners or other
fabric care solutions, otherwise comply with the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions. Tumble drying automatically leaves fabrics soft and fluffy.
䡲
The use of fabric conditioner in the wash can lead over time to the forma-
tion of a thin, barely visible film in the drum and on the moisture sensors.
This can cause a malfunction resulting in the washing not being dried to
the level of dryness required.
䡲
Use tumbler dryer sheets sparingly.
䡲
Spin washing well before tumble drying.
Well-spun washing requires a shorter drying time, saving energy. Tumble
drying largely removes creases that come from spinning in the washing
machine.
䡲
Sort washing by type and size. Small, light items of washing dry faster.
䡲
Protect items of washing from getting damaged by buttoning up duvet and
pillow cases, closing zips and hook and eye fasteners, and fastening cloth
belts and apron ties.
