Opening the appliance door in the event of a power
failure

Turn off the water tap.

Switch off appliance at wall switch or pull
plug out of mains socket.

Open cover for foreign body trap 1 .

If necessary, execute emergency draining.

Remove emergency door release tool 2
from fastening.
A
Insert emergency door release tool into
opening

Turn emergency door release tool to the
right in direction of arrow.
A
Appliance door springs open.
Before unloading the appliance, ensure that the washing
drum is stationary. Do not touch the drum while it is still in
motion – risk of serious injury!
If the emergency door release tool is missing, a screw driver can be used
instead.
