7 Trouble-shooting

Laundry is still dry
after programme
has finished – no
error message. ▪ «Demo mode» is turned
on. ▸ Open the appliance door.

7.3 Unsatisfactory wash results
Result Possible cause Solution
White residue on
washing ▪ Despite intensive rinsing,
badly soluble com-
pounds in the detergent
can be left on the wash-
ing. ▸ Shake out or brush the wash items.
▸ Wash the items again with just a little
washing detergent.
▸ Use a liquid detergent that does not
contain zeolites.
▸ Select fabric type «Black gar-
ments» (see page 9).
Grey residue on
washing ▪ Grease and dirt particles
left behind.
▪ Residue from detergent,
limescale and dirt
▸ Increase detergent dosage.
▸ Use heavy-duty washing detergent.
▸ Adjust amount of detergent to water
hardness and degree of soiling of
washing (see page 15).
▪ Washing drum is over-
loaded. ▸ Put less laundry into the washing drum
(see page 13).
Washing feels hard ▪ Poor rinsing effect
through very soft water
(below 15 °fH). ▸ Select user setting «soft water».
Unsatisfactory
wash result using
detergent for col-
