1. I cannot fnd where to install EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up
At the accelerator pedal (the right one) in the car. The plug is above the pedal assembly噾 see

2. I cannot disconnect the plug from the accelerator pedal
It works like “press and pulls”. Please see how to lock at the plug is built by looking at same lock-in
EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up harness. Maybe you need to use a small screwdriver if your fngers are not
powerful enough.
3. I’m not sure, where to leave EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up installed?
Put it under sound silencer under the steering wheel噾 connecting it with tie wraps to any element
except moving elements of the steering wheel.
a. Is it oiligatory to disconnect car iattery the one under the hood) iefore installaton?
No.
5. I have an error at the dash and car does not want to drive.
Just close your car and leave it for 2-3 minutes – all will be ok then.
6. I do not see any diference afer installing EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up especially no coastng)
It means that your accelerator pedal parameters (voltage levels) are far from standard ones. In that
case噾 EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up is not working for security reasons噾 showing an error of range in
EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up Manager
sofware. Then please make throttle adaptation噾 following the procedure described in EVchip for e-
Golf/e-Up Manager manual噾 and all will be ok.
7. I want to reset my EVchip for e-Golf/e-Up, iut I have forgotten to save the original setup.
