2.5.
Connection to the vehicle’s monitor
Remove the vehicle’s monitor. Turn out the four screws which fix the monitor’s
display to the monitor’s rear side. Carefully separate both parts by pulling them apart
while the 91pin Multipin connector in-between is going to be disconnected. Connect
the monitor’s display‘s 91pin Multi connector to the intermediate module’s 91pin
connector (take care to avoid any damage to the sensitive pins!) Fix both parts by
using the OEM screws. The monitor’s back part has to be connected to the
intermediate module with the same caution to the Multipin connector’s pins. To fix
both parts, use the enclosed screws. In case of a low installation depth or installation
height, two different installation options (
U-shap or L-shape
) can be chosen. Refer
also to chapter “Place of installation intermediate module”.
Connect the beige colored male 20pin connector (
Monitor Side
) of the 20pin cable to
the female 20pin connector of the intermediate module and connect the second
beige colored male 20pin connector (
Box Side
) opposite the cable to the female
20pin connector of the video interface. Take care for installing the cable in the right
direction as both connectors are identical. (Pay attention to the wire`s caption
“
MONITOR SIDE” and “BOX SIDE
”)
