1. Defective connector

cable or poor con-
tact in the connector.

Reinsert the connector. Also check for continuity within the
connector cable. If none, replace the cable.
PF paper size length switch 1 and PF main PWB (YC5)
PF paper size length switch 2 and PF main PWB (YC8)
PF paper size width switch 1 and PF main PWB (YC5)
PF paper size width switch 2 and PF main PWB (YC8)

2. Defective PF paper

size switch.

Replace PF paper size switch.

3. Defective PWB.

Replace the PF main PWB PWB and check for correct
operation (see page 1-5-4).
