Controlling the UDMR with MIDI signals
65
Transmitting note data during phrase
playback
When playing back DMX phrases with the MIDI Note Out
setting configured to 'ON', you can use the MIDI OUT terminal
to output on/off signals for note numbers configured in the
Note Mapping (p.62) function.
These signals can be used to control multiple UDMR units.
When multiple note numbers have been configured for the
same phrase, only the on/off signals of the smallest note
number are output.
MIDI signals are output from the configured MIDI receive
channel (p.63).
When the MIDI receive channel is set to 'OFF',
No on/off signals are output.
When the MIDI receive channel/s are set between
channels 1 - 16 (1 - 16ch), on/off signals are output by the
selected channel/s.
When the MIDI channel is set to 'ALL', on/off signals are
output by channel 1 (1ch)
When using note numbers to control multiple UDMR units, set
the Note Trigger for the controlled devices (p.64) to
'TRIGGER'.
The note number on/off signals are not output during MIDI
phrase playback.
