5          Cooktop

When using smaller vessels, reduce the flame intensity to the required optimum.

While cooking always avoid the content being cooked to overflow and fall on the burner. This

may extinguish the flame and also block the burner holes.

Wipe clean the cook top, pan supports and drip pans with warm soapy water and use a soft cloth

to avoid scratches.

Clean the burner regularly so that they don’t get clogged. Do not use abrasive materials for

cleaning. If you clean the burners with water, make sure that you dry them properly before using.

Please ensure that the auto ignition unit is free from food particles / liquids as it may affect

 ignition.

Always check the flexible tube periodically for any wear and tear to avoid gas leaks and prevent

 danger.

If you find gas leakage smell, close the gas regulator of the cylinder / pipeline, open up all

windows and call your Gas SUPPLY agents. Do not switch “ON” any electric switch or light
  matches / lighter etc.

Always remember NOT to check the gas leak with a flame. Keep the tube away from heat.

Keep away any flammable material / liquid from the Cook Top.

When using a lighter to ignite the burner keep a distance of almost 0.5 cm between them to

prevent gas from burning in the gas pipe. In case this happens, immediately switch off the burner

and reignite.

Toughened glass is used for the cooking table in glass top models. However, necessary

precaution on handling of glass, is very important. Make sure that when the glass in hot, there

should not be any dripping of cold water of liquid on glass as it may damage the glass.

The breakage of glass due to any reason is not covered under warranty.

Do not try to dismantle / repair the gas valve or burner nozzles yourselves as the same may not

be replaced properly which may be hazardous for your health.

For auto ignition battery operated, please do periodically change the battery for better result.

Do not clean with alcohol or kerosene because it may damage the cook top.

Do not leave the gas burner unattended while in on position.

After the cooking is over, turn both the gas control knobs and gas regulator off, e.g., when going

to bed or leaving the house.

Keep the Gas Stove out of reach of children.
