QUICK START GUIDE
DO NOT PLUG IN STEAM CLEANER UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO
1. CONNECT HOSE TO STEAM CLEANER:
Lift the hinged
hose socket cover
on the front of the steam cleaner and insert the
square end of the steam hose until you hear a
“click”
which means
that the connector is inserted properly.
2.
LOCK STEAM SAFETY SWITCH:
On the steam hose
handle is a
safety switch.
When locked, it will prevent steam from
traveling from the boiler into the hose.
ALWAYS SET SAFETY SWITCH TO LOCKED POSITION AFTER EACH
USE. NOT SETTING SWITCH TO LOCKED POSITION COULD RESULT IN
INJURY
3. OPEN SAFETY CAP AND FILL TANK WITH WATER:
Press and hold down while
turning the safety cap counter clockwise to
open. Remove the cap. Pour in the water from the filler bottle leaving
about 1 inch of water in the bottle to prevent overflow in the tank. Do
not overfill the tank to the rim of the opening.
4. REPLACE THE SAFETY CAP AND HAND TIGHTEN:
Insert the safety cap into the tank opening. Press and turn the cap clockwise to close. Keep
pressing and turning the cap until it is tight.
Note: This cap does not sit flush on the machine once fully tightened.
5.
PLUG IN THE STEAM CLEANER:
Plug the
power cord
into an outlet. The steam cleaner
should be the only appliance plugged into an outlet.
6.
SELECT AND ATTACH TOOL TO HOSE
7. POWER ON THE STEAM CLEANER:
Press the
Power button
to heat the water in the boiler. The orange light
on button will illuminate. The
Steam Ready
light will illuminate
when ready to use. The pressure gauge should read around
3.5 to 4.5 bar and be in the green zone of the dial.
8. PRESS THE STEAM RELEASE BUTTON
to release
the steam to the hose. This is the
ON
Position. The orange
light on button will illuminate but no steam will come out yet.
9. UNLOCK STEAM SAFETY SWITCH
located on the hose handle by pushing it away from
the handle. The safety switch prevents the steam trigger from being depressed when in the locked
position.
