INSTALLATION
The telephone can be wall mounted; for this purpose, two specific slots have been provided in the base of
the telephone for the lock screws. A pawl is also provided that can be rotated in order to fasten the hand-
set when the terminal is installed in a vertical position.
1. Before fastening the telephone to the wall, connect this as described in the previous sections:
2. Turn the pawl on the base by 180° using a coin
or a screwdriver so that the hooks of the hand-
set located in the related cradle protrude
completely.
3. Make two 5-mm diameter holes in the wall where the telephone is to be mounted at a distance of 140
mm.
4. Insert the wall plugs in the holes and tighten the screws until the telephone is approximately 5 mm from
the wall.
5. Move the telephone close to the wall so that the heads of the screws are fully inserted in the large hole
of the slots and fasten the telephone moving this up and down.

PERSONALIZATION OF THE LABELS
The 4097/1 terminal makes it possible to personalize the labels of the direct dialling keys and the legend of
the indirect dialling keys.

Legend of the keys for indirect calls.
•
Labels of the keys for direct calls.
To remove the labels, proceed as follows:
1. Lift the hand-set.
2. Apply a light pressure to the hooks that fasten the cover of
the labels and remove it.
3. Remove the label and personalize this as required.
4. Refit the cover applying a light pressure to the fastening
hooks.
