Select SHUTTER to change manually the Shutter speed (included “special” values X12, X10, X8, X6, X4
and X2).
If the Shutter speed is reduced, also the CCD sensitivity is reduced, but is increased the capability to
capture scenes with rapid movement.
WHITE BAL
This function allows to select the white balancing mode.
Select this menu item to choose among MANUAL, ATW1, ATW2 and AWC options.

This option allows to manually adjust the white balancing under extreme lighting conditions (images with
different colours but without white, for example in rooms with fluorescent coloured artificial lighting, etc.).
Note
It is recommended not to use this mode, if not strictly necessary.
BACKLIGHT

BACKLIGHT COMPENSATION
An object with a strong light in the background usually appears dark and not so visible if compared with the
rest of image. The BLC function allows to solve this problem and obtain a good compensation.
Select this menu item to choose among AUTO (automatic), DRC and AREA options.
DRC
DRC function (Dynamic Range Control) is the digital version of WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) function; it
allows a better balancing of bright and dark areas to obtain a more detailed image.
