Troubleshooting
The LEDs on the front panel can help you to define the network failures. This
section describes common problems you can possibly face with and the ways
to fix them.
1.
Link
LED
If the
Link
LED is off after connecting a device you should:
•
check the network interfaces of the device you connect and of the
switch;
•
check the network cable you use;
•
make sure the network cable connected into both network
interfaces (of the switch and the device you intend to connect);
•
make sure the length of the cable does not exceed the specified
limit (100 meters).
2.
Power
LED
If the
Power
LED is off after plugging the power cable into the socket and the
outlet please make sure that:
•
there is power in the outlet;
•
the power cable is not damaged
If after the plugging the power cable the
Power
LED lights up but then turns
off after a while, make sure that:
•
there is no significant wears in your electric grid;
•
the power cable is not tightened (it can cause inadvertent
unplugging).
If you still experience the problem please contact the service center.
