OPERATION - TOASTING
1. Prepare the toaster as described in the section “Before using the appliance
the first time”.
2. Place the bread slices in the slots in the toasting chamber.
3. Set the desired toast darkness with the darkness control. You can select
from seven toast darkness settings: level 1 is very light and level 6 is very
dark. For golden brown toast set the lever in the middle position.
4. Press the toast lever down until it locks into place. The toaster starts toast-
ing.
5. You can interrupt the toasting cycle any time by pressing the ( S t o p )
button.
6. When the bread has been toasted to the set darkness, it is automatically
ejected. The appliance shuts off automatically.
CAUTION:
The appliance becomes very hot during operation!
STOPP
OPERATION - WARMING
1. Place the bread slices in the slots in the toasting chamber.
2. If you want to warm up the bun, press the lever for the bun attachment
down. The bun attachment opens and you can place the bun on top of the
bun attachment. To fold the bread roll back in, push the lever for the bread
roll up. Warning: Never place the rolls directly on the roasting shaft: risk of
fire! Never use the bun attachment when it is unfolded!
3. Press the toast lever down until it locks into place.
4. Then press the button
right away.
5. The bread or roll is warmed without being toasted.
6. You can interrupt the warming cycle any time by pressing the
( S t o p )
button.
7. After completion of the warming cycle the bread is automatically ejected.
The appliance shuts off automatically.
8. Please note that you cannot set the toast darkness when using the warming
function.
CAUTION: The appliance becomes very hot during operation!
The warming function can be used to warm up bread or rolls without toasting.
