Removal, Cleaning, and Replacement of the Filter
1. Turn Air Compressor “OFF” and unplug it.
2. Unscrew the cover by turning it 1/8 turn counterclockwise like you were unscrewing a
jar, and pull down. The clear plastic container might still remain attached to the top.
Gently pull this part straight down.
3. You will see a red colored foam filter. Unscrew this filter and remove it. Using an air
hose, blow compressed air through this filter or wash it out with water. If you use
water, make sure it dries completely before re-installing.
4. Empty and clean out any residue that may have accumulated on the bottom of the
clear plastic container.
5. Install the clean and dry red filter back into the top part of the assembly.
6. Install the clear plastic container into the cover and line up the tabs so that they fit
one inside of the other. Refer to the diagram below.
7. Insert the combination of the cover and the clear plastic container into the top of the
assembly. Gently twist the cover 1/8 turn clockwise to lock it into place.
