SADDLE
• Take a moment before each ride to check for any unusual movement. Tighten
anything that feels loose and check for any damage.
• Check the saddle for movement before each ride by securing the wheel between your
legs and trying to twist the saddle and seatpost. If there’s any movement you should
tighten the seatpost clamp before riding.
CRANK ARMS
• Creaking while riding can be a sign that the crank arms are loose on the hub spindle.
If you hear creaks or feel any unusual movement from the crank arms, stop riding
your unicycle immediately! Loose crank bolts will destroy the crank arms and the hub
spindle. They must be tight!
PEDALS
• Loose pedals can also cause creaks and an unsteady feeling when pedaling. Stop
riding immediately! Loose pedals will destroy the crank arms. They must be tight! If
your pedals have come loose, tighten before riding further and if required immediately
consult your dealer.
